Meet the staff of IVF Öresund
"To take your problem to an outsider and to put them into the hands of somebody else will sometimes give you an uncomfortable feeling. Therefore we have to be extra sensitive in our work. Consequently, we are always there to help and support you."
Our concept is based on a combination of advanced medical technology and a basic humanitarian attitude, which prevents us from letting the balance sheet afect with our care-taking. From this formula we have created a unit where the patient always comes first. The fact that we have succeeded to create a competitive European unit, shows that our formula works.

Gynaecologist and Medical Director. Been in IVF since its first days in the early eighties. Started the IVF unit at the University Hospital in Lund and spent three years at the National University of Singapore working in IVF. President of Nordic Fertility Society 1999 - 2001 and member of ESHRE and EFA. Founder of IVF Öresund.
Fredrik Ploman
Gynaecologist and Laboratory Director. In charge of the IVF unit at Malmö University Hospital since the mid eighties.
Joined IVF Öresund in 1994.
Christina Henriksson
Ass. nurse. Takes care of you before, during and after the oocyte recovery. Keeps our equipment in shape, analyses blood samples and makes you feel at home. Been with us since 1994.
Eva Ellerström
Coordinator and reg. nurse. Been with us since we started. What she does not know is best forgotten. Gives you all the information you need and is able to answer all your questions. Married to a farmer and knows facts about real life. Been with us since 1991.
Ankie Hägglund
Coordinating midwife and globetrotter. Marketing and distance coordinator. Gives you all the information you need and is able to answer all your questions. Been in IVF since 1992.
Gunilla Schyberg
Gunilla is a midwife who rides a bicycle in all weathers and likes art and literature. Out-patient coordinator. She gives you all the practical information about the treatment, and takes care of you in the different steps during and after treatment. Joined us in October 2008.
Ylva Ehrnström
Embryologist (ESHRE reg.) and amateur astrologist. Controls the well being of sperm and oocyte in the laboratory. Maintains our high quality standard. Working in IVF since 1993.
Karina Harde
Ass. nurse. Takes care of you before, during and after the oocyte recovery. Keeps our equipment in shape, analyses blood samples and makes you feel at home. Been with us since 1998.
Charlotte Wrangel
Coordinator and reg.nurse. Joined us in year 2000 but has been active in infertility work for many years.
Ingela Liljekvist Soltic
Embryologist and PhD. Has Denmark close to her heart, so the Danish language is no problem! Ingela is responsible for our quality system and ensures that eggs and sperm are happy in the lab and that our high quality of laboratory work is maintained. Worked with IVF since 2008.
Jeanette Bladh
Jeanette is our secretary and is responsible for all of our documents and security system. She meets you at the reception, makes all the appointments and answers all practical questions. Jeaette has worked with us since 2010.
Linda Persson
Embryologist with experience in IVF since 2008. Young, dedicated, and focused, both as a marathon runner and at the microscope. Ensures that the egg and sperm are happy in the lab and that our high quality of laboratory work is maintained. Appreciated staff since spring 2011.
