IVF-Kliniken Öresund began operations in 1990 and offers a vast experience of all the in vitro fertilization treatments availabale in Sweden. Since our beginnning, almost 15,000 treatments have been started. A total of more than 3,000 children have been born as a result of IVF treatment at IVF-Kliniken Öresund.

The figures presented in the following tables apply to all types of treatment, but one must be aware that pregnancy chance is slightly smaller then the woman's age exceeds 38 years and the man is over 50 years.
This fact is the basis for IVF-Kliniken Öresund's policy to conduct further investigation into the woman's age exceeds 40 years at the planned start of treatment. Accumulated experience has shown that reading over 42 years of age are extremely unlikely to result in confinement.

After up to three completed treatment cycles, two thirds of all couples have given birth to a baby.
