Going through an IVF-treatment can be demanding and emotionally draining. It often implies experiencing an emotional roller coaster ride where disappointment and hope come and go. It is not uncommon to feel powerless.

Our personnel are used to meeting couples in difficult situations both before they undergo treatment as well as during treatment. Sometimes, though, you may need extra support. If so, we will schedule an appointment for you with a psychologist, or we will refer you to one. Being able to process thoughts and feelings may alleviate any stress or anxiety. You can visit with the psychologist as a couple or separately.

Unfortunately all infertile couples cannot be helped to a successful pregnancy. However, assisted reproduction as a technique is continuously developing and IVF as a method is becoming more and more successful. The most important thing is an open and honest dialog between the couple and the team at the IVF-clinic.
